YouTube is Getting Better

Cordova, TN; September 6, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. As ya'll know I tell it like it is. I give my perspective and my opinion on topics. That includes the good and the bad. It dawned on me recently that things have gotten better at YouTube for Family Friendly Gaming. We have gone a year with no major issues that I can recall so I recorded a video about how things have gotten better at YouTube. Right after processing the video we got a strange email from YouTube. Just Dance Kids Mickey was deleted because it violated the Child Protection portion of the Community Guidelines.

I kept cool, calm, and collect about it. I did my research. A video we had uploaded many years ago looked fine to me. I read through the Community Guidelines multiple times. I found no violations at all. I checked YouTube and found other channels had also recorded the same song in Just Dance Kids and their videos were still online. I went through the appeals process and explained I saw no violations, other channels had the same content, and this video had been uploaded many years ago. Less than twenty-fours later YouTube responded with they approved our appeal and agreed that no violations had been performed. They even apologized for any inconveniences. This was awesome. It vindicated the video I had just recorded.

I am very thankful for the YouTube platform. I know there have been issues for us in the past. As of right now things are going pretty good there, and I appreciate that. I want to be sure I give good reports on sites we interact with just as we give the bad ones. Which is the whole intent of this article. I have another video coming out soon where I compare YouTube, Rumble, Daily Motion, and BitChute. I hope ya'll will enjoy that as I give honest analysis of all four sites. The winner may surprise you. There is another site mentioned in that video that I hope to check out soon.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
