Fighting Through

Cordova, TN; June 21, in the year of our Lord 2021 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are times in life that require tremendous amounts of strength. There are days I have to fight through. It can be a pain to see and hear some people worship hatefulness, censorship, silencing of Christians and worse. There are days that I am bothered by a plethora of things. There are days I am so exhausted from the day job that I have no energy for Family Friendly Gaming. I found that I can setup for a stream and God instantly gives me the power to fight on through. It feels so great o be helping so many during live streams.

There are days I am down in the dumps. These liberal video game companies all brag about how woke they are. I notice they still treat us in the gaming media like their slaves and there is a massive wealth disparity between us and them. I point this out to these liberal video game companies and man you would think I just murdered their children right in front of them from the reaction they give. How horrible I am for pointing out their hypocrisy. They don't practice what they preach. Or the people in PR and Marketing that say they are only there for PR and they have no budget to pay fifty to one hundred dollars to help us just a little teeny tiny bit. These same people in PR and Marketing brag about getting 8K to 10K bonuses from the video game companies for all the sales the games made. They never once consider throwing us a few bones to help us continue to exist. Those incidents can really kill the motivation to help them make any more money.

Ultimately I don't care if Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Sega, and other companies are making massive profits. My focus is not on helping them make money. My focus is on helping you the readers find good family friendly products. I fight through for you. Your emails, tweets, posts, and more that support us is what really helps me stand back up after getting knocked down. I continue to shine as a light for Jesus Christ in this dark industry when I can barely keep my eyes open. I point people to God and Biblical concepts when I need sleep and someone is "checking" if we saw their press release. I have been called a Renaissance Man, and one of the hardest working in the industry. I have also been called Emperor. None of those names mean much to me. Pointing people to God is what holds meaning for me. It is what pushes me to fight on again and again.

I never wanted to do this. I still don't want to do this. This is my cross to bear and I accept that. Honestly when I look at it my cross to bear is not as bad as some others. I can see so many people in so much worse circumstances from me. I can't complain about my issues and problems when I know there are others living under bridges, dying from diseases, and being beaten for no good reason. There are people in prison for having a relationship with Jesus Christ. My problems fade away in comparison. I know plenty of indie video game developers struggling to get by. That is one of the reasons we keep our advertising costs so low, and we help them as often as we can. I am human and can have flare ups over issues I face from time to time. I strive to be better on a daily basis. I strive to keep fighting as long as God gives me strength.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
