PowerBeatsVR Release Date

Munich, November 11, in the year of our Lord 2020 - VR publisher Five Mind Creations today announced that the full version of their virtual reality fitness game PowerBeatsVR will launch on Steam, Oculus Home, and Viveport on November 18, 2020. Making full use of room-scale VR to challenge players to move, box, squat and dodge to the rhythm of the music with both pre-made as well as auto-generated workouts for custom music, PowerBeatsVR has players sweating in no time – and they will be happy about it!

“My own experience as a Ninja warrior candidate has shown me the fun and the benefits of working out. With PowerBeatsVR, we wanted to give everyone easy access to a fun workout, regardless of type of player, fitness level, or situation in life”.
Dr. Niklas Weber, Creative Director

PowerBeatsVR includes over 20 free songs with over 50 professionally designed workouts with global leaderboards. A configurable auto-generator generates endless more layouts for the player’s own music, and an in-game editor allows for even more variety. The game includes various fitness statistics and comes with a playlist feature for tailored workouts. A special feature is direct support for Bluetooth and ANT+ heart rate monitors for accurate calorie tracking. Four beautifully designed environments and four playstyles (“weapons”) complete the experience.
