Princess Case A royal scoop is now available
Montreuil (France), January 12th, in the year of our
Lord 2012. Anuman Interactive is pleased to announce
the release of the video game, "The Princess Case - A Royal
Scoop", an interactive adventure with a touch of romance for PC,
Mac, iPhone and iPad.
French software publisher Anuman Interactive’s video game “The
Princess Case - A Royal Scoop" is intended for all the devotees
of the royal weddings that took place in 2011. Those events were
the raw material of the original script for the game – marketed
under the “Microids – Games for All label”.
Players take the part of Lois Wheeler, a New York society
reporter trying to cover the biggest story of her career: the
honeymoon in New York of Prince Edward of Windsor and his wife
Cathy. Out of the blue events take an uncontrolable turn and
Lois unwittingly finds herself playing the sleuth along the FBI
against an international kidnapping mystery.
"The Princess Case - A Royal Scoop" is an interactive adventure
where players progress towards solving the crime through
minigames (e.g. match 3, sliding blocks, puzzles), multiple
choice dialogues and finding hidden objects.
Throughout the game players uncover hidden items which help them
in their bid to solve the mystery of the kidnapped princess.
Some objects can be stored in an interactive inventory for use
at key points in the plot. The key which opens Cathy and
Edward’s room so that it then be searched for clues is one
example. Players must draw on their powers of logic and
intuition and make the best use of the available functionaliies,
e.g. the parallax, which allows them to perceive a scene from
different points of view.
"The Princess Case - A Royal Scoop" is a game for all with its
“clues” function that players can use to find their way forward
again when they come to a dead end. However, they cannot use
clues at will and have to wait until a time gauge has refilled.
They can hurry the gauge up by finding the mystery stars hidden
in the game’s environment.
The game comes complete with “Extras”, i.e. minigames and
puzzles that users can play at any time once they have solved
the main mystery.
"The Princess Case - A Royal Scoop" went on sale on January 12th
2012 and can be purchased at the AppStore and on the main
download platforms in English, French, Italian, German and
Spanish.
