Prague, Czech Republic - March 22, in the year of our Lord 2012 - Grip games, a privately owned developer and publisher of games for game consoles and high-end portable devices, announced today it will launch Foosball 2012, the first foosball game for the PlayStationŽ3 system and PlayStationŽVita system. The game will be available on the PlayStationŽ3 system and PlayStationŽVita system as a downloadable game via the PlayStationŽStore throughout North and South America, Europe and other territories this spring. The first foosball game developed for the PlayStationŽVita system and PlayStationŽ3 system will feature clever connective play between both consoles, delivering both cross play and game continuation features in addition to PlayStationŽMove motion controller and DUALSHOCKŽ3 wireless controller support. The company also released the first video of gameplay in Foosball 2012 today.

With its keen cross-platform functionalities, Foosball 2012 will allow players on one platform to play online against players on the other platform for cross play. Additionally, with game continuation, players can experience the game at home with their PS3T and pick up where they left off anywhere, anytime with their PSŽVita!

"Not only are we excited to announce the first foosball game for the PS3T and PSŽVita, but we are thrilled to launch the game for both devices with fun and competitive cross-compatibility features," said Jakub Mikyska, CEO of Grip Games. "Players will now have a multitude of options to get their foosball fix anywhere, anytime and on either PlayStationŽ device."

Foosball 2012 will feature single and multiplayer modes along with Quick Match gameplay where up to four players can play simultaneously in a local match. The game supports both DUALSHOCKŽ3 wireless controller and PS Move motion controller support for ultra-realistic foosball controls that will make players feel like they are controlling a real foosball table!
