Dance Praise Expansion Packs 1, 2, and 3

There have been good ideas throughout time, and there have been really good ideas. Dance Praise was one of the best ideas I had heard in a very long time. The implementation was pretty good with a minor problem here or there (read the Dance Praise original game review online for all the details). When Family Friendly Gaming heard about the expansion packs, we were really excited. The one apprehension I had personally was it would just be more of the same with no improvements. I am quite happy to find out just how wrong that apprehension was. The three expansion packs are grouped by the specific genre of Christian music. There is Modern Worship (Expansion Pack 1), Hip-Hop/Rap (Expansion Pack 2), and Pop & Rock Hits (Expansion Pack 3). None of these PC/MAC expansion packs are rated by the ESRB, however the original was rated ‘E’ for Everyone with no descriptors. The original is needed in order to play the Expansion packs.
The graphics in the original were really good. I noticed a few tweaks here or there that improve the graphics in the Expansion packs. Nothing too earth shattering, however the fact that Digital Praise did make some improvements makes points with me. Lyrics from the songs praising God in the different styles are there, and all the dancers are still dressed appropriately.
The choices that come with the Expansion packs allows the player to choose the style(s) that best fit their musical tastes. If you like Modern Worship, there is a great selection of those. If Christian Rap, or Rock is more your speed, then you have a wonderful selection of those as well. The music included in this game shines at the highest of levels. My personal favorite is the Modern Worship.
Active video gaming is one of the lifestyles that we openly support here at Family Friendly Gaming. The ability to get exercise while gaming is very important. More than one player can play this at once, and there are plenty of modes to keep all ya’ll busy for months to come. This game is supplementing my normal exercise regiment. At least one of these expansion packs are worth your hard earned dollars. They are the perfect addition to Dance Praise, and priced very reasonably ($24.95 US Dollars each).
The problems with the dance pads in the game play has been corrected. This is the biggest, and most notable improvement. Digital Praise sent us the latest dance pad, and we can attest to how well they work. There was not one problem with the dance pad. It is amazing how much fun this game is to play, and the levels assigned to each song is the perfect progression for this series.
How can you get any better than getting physical exercise while getting spiritual nourishment? All three of the Dance Praise Expansion packs are safe for the entire family. This game is perfect for school, church, and any form of a gathering. It was a joy for me to be able to play, and review these games. We reviewers may fuss about a lot of different things in a lot of different video games, but it is so nice to review a game like this one. Developers are like anyone else, and hit home runs with their products from time to time. Digital Praise has hit a grand slam with the release of all three of their Expansion packs. This game earns our seal of approval!
