Peter Rabbit 2

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase Peter Rabbit 2 on DVD. Yolanda and I watched Peter Rabbit 2 on one of our movie nights. It took us ninety-three minutes to watch Peter Rabbit 2 from start to finish. The storyline in Peter Rabbit 2 picks up where the last movie ended. The human couple is getting married. Peter even fantasizes about the animals attacking humans and driving them off. After all animals were there first and the land is theirs.

The radical far left wing ideology is present within Peter Rabbit 2. Thankfully it has been toned down a bit from the previous movie. There are slight things here and there in Peter Rabbit 2. Take for example the priest/pastor is a female. There are multiple references to being evolved. Peter Rabbit 2 teaches to stay true to yourself and your vision. Do not change who you are, or change what your entertainment is to make it more marketable and successful. There is also a lesson in Peter Rabbit 2 about finding out who you actually are.

While the book about the animals and the farm does well the author attracts the attention of a publisher that wants to make everything all hip. The rabbits get their clothing (in art form only) changed to look like they are from the hood. They also spend time on the beach and out in space. This is all in the second book and not in the movie. There are chase scenes and other things that happen in Peter Rabbit 2 that are planned for the second book. Like jumping out of an airplane for example.

There is some cartoon violence within Peter Rabbit 2. There is also plenty of humor. The second half of Peter Rabbit 2 is much better than the first half. The humans act like they are parents to the animals in Peter Rabbit 2. I know there are people in our world that act that way as well. It never made any sense to me personally. I am the master of the pets, not their parent. Again more of that radical far left wing preaching.

Peter gets conned in Peter Rabbit 2. He finds out that other animals will lie to him. He does make good from the mistakes he makes in Peter Rabbit 2. There is plenty of animals stealing from humans within Peter Rabbit 2. The boxing scenes are pretty interesting in Peter Rabbit 2. Too much of Peter Rabbit 2 is characters not being true to who they actually are. Thankfully they figure it out later in the movie.
