Woven

I am so pleased Woven has been released on the Nintendo Switch, Personal Computer (PC), Xbox One and Playstation 4. Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Woven on the PS4. Sadly the physical copy movement is not provided for by Woven. Meaning there are no physical copies of this game in the United States at this time. Hopefully that is corrected really soon. Woven is a 1.3 gig download.

The first thing I noticed about Woven is the narrator. He reminds me of Dr Seuss. I am constantly having people tell me I need to be a voice actor, movie actor, television show actor, etc. If I am any judge of talent I really like the narrator in Woven. He feels like a part of the game and not just sound bytes. Woven is a puzzle game where we change colors, patterns, and more to get past roadblocks.

Families with children over the age of ten can also play Woven to find all of the different patterns. It is possible to get stuck in Woven. The narrator will assist in a variety of ways. At times I just did not get it though. I am being completely open, honest and transparent here. I could imagine kids getting stuck not understanding how to get past the snake, beavers, or others.

I enjoyed my time with Woven. This is one of those games where I would be open to a video sponsorship if the company wanted to reach our constantly grow Youtube audience. The arts and crafts nature mixed with technology in Woven is very interesting. The background story is slowly revealed as memory spots are found in Woven.

There are some fun mini games to play to unlock new blueprints. It is easy and fun scanning with the firefly for new colors and parents. Changing parts are easy on Stuffy through a weaving machine. I love how Stuffy works on overcoming fears like the dark. The violent content and lack of physical copy are the two things that bring Woven down from being an absolutely amazing game.
