Mochi Mochi Boy

A digital download code was provided to Family Friendly Gaming for Mochi Mochi Boy on the Nintendo Switch. We were also given codes on the PS4 and PS Vita. Those two codes were offered to our Twitch viewers if they send us a whisper and tell us which system they want the game on. First to do so wins. Pretty cool huh? Kind of like the offered given in the Rat Race movie.

There are two main modes in Mochi Mochi Boy. There is the tower mode and the dungeon mode. The tower mode has 138 levels in it. I found most of them to be extremely easy. In fact it was almost boring and painful to go through the levels in Mochi Mochi Boy. The Dungeon mode has ten levels that randomly generate. They may be easy or absolutely impossible to complete.

Mochi Mochi Boy reminds me of Gameboy Color video games in terms of graphics. We have a slime that stretches out and must get all of the hear tiles in this downloadable only home console and hand held video game. The controls are really sluggish and slow in Mochi Mochi Boy. Which is even worse when you know exactly what to do but must sit around and wait on the slow controls.

We are trying to save our slime friends of the devil in Mochi Mochi Boy. I am not clear as to how that works when we are just slithering around these levels. Did the devil put really easy levels in front of us to complete? Why not just turn to God for help? The animations fit with the controls in Mochi Mochi Boy. I wish there were more and better directions in Mochi Mochi Boy.

The music in Mochi Mochi Boy is passable. There are one hundred of our slime friends to look at in the gallery section of Mochi Mochi Boy. We can also go in the paint area and change the colors of Mochi Mochi Boy. We can work on making this game look less bland. The Gameboy Color graphics have a certain amount of charm in my opinion.
