Thank you Ubisoft for sending Family Friendly Gaming a digital
download code for Jeopardy on the Xbox One. This television game show
based video game is very educational. I like the music in Jeopardy.
Jeopardy can also be found on the Playstation 4, and there is a physical
copy version of this game. It comes with Wheel of Fortune. That is
covered in a separate review by my little brother.
Jeopardy contains a Daily Challenge, Online, and Play Jeopardy. The AI
controlled characters can be set to three different difficulties. Even
on easy those computer controlled characters know stuff I never heard
of. I played Jeopardy with my dad and he beat me on the final wager. I
went conservative without knowing the question and he went all out for
the win. We both knew the question so he wound up beating me. Such is
life. A sort of a gambling concept in that final round.
We had a blast playing Jeopardy here at Family Friendly Gaming. There
are two thousand clues in Jeopardy. When you play against the computer
you do not see the answer choices. When you play against other humans
you see the selections. Sometimes you can win a question by letting the
two other players answer wrong. Then there is only one choice left.
At the start of each match in Jeopardy families can choose the subjects.
Or you can let the game bring up whatever it has. If you want to get
really good at a certain section then you might decide to focus on just
it. The problem with that strategy is you might not always be able to
pick that category. Some of the questions in Jeopardy are insanely
difficult. There are vague references to books. Then you need to know
the author.
Jeopardy has a family mode making it easier for families. I like how
Jeopardy looks. The controls work great in Jeopardy for all family
members playing. You might have read the Wheel of Fortune review.
Thankfully Jeopardy controls much better. Jeopardy is also much smaller
in terms of size than Wheel of Fortune. I am so pleased to see Ubisoft
release this game. I would like to see more games like this one in the
future.
