Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe
A code on the Nintendo 3DS for Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe was given to
Family Friendly Gaming. This level based runner based on gnomes
collecting socks has some history. First there was 2fast4gnomes on the
Wii. Then there was Geki Yaba Runner on the Android and iOS. Now we get
Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe on the Nintendo 3DS. The games mentioned from my
research are all very similar.
You are a gnome in a level based runner. You are trying to save the princess, and collect all of these socks. Why are we collecting socks? The gnome king orders us to. Players must acquire so many socks in each level to get to the next level. There is one skip allowed in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe. There are over 130 levels in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe. This downloadable only video game starts easy and gets progressively more difficult.
Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe is very fast paced. The little gnome can move in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe. Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe forced me to anticipate jumps. Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe also lets our gnome glide with his underwear. The really hard levels have us jump, glide, drop, and glide again. In my professional opinion Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe is more of a level based jumper than a level based runner.
The gnome in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe will explode when he runs into something, lands on spikes, and other forms of dismemberment. The ESRB dropped the ball (yet again) when it comes to descriptors of the violent deaths in this hand held video game. Does anyone in Family Friendly Gaming Universe have any faith, trust, hope and love left in the ESRB after all of these failures and scandals?
When I completed a hard level in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe I felt like I had accomplished something. Others here at Family Friendly Gaming also got into Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe. Levels in Geki Yaba Runner Deluxe are very addicting. I would like to see this franchise continue, improve, and include some kind of a casual mode for less talented gamers.
