Asdivine Hearts

For months I wanted to play and review one of the Kemco RPG's. I got my opportunity on Asdivine Hearts. This role playing video game is downloadable only. I played Asdivine Hearts on the Wii U. It is also an app on the iOS and Android platforms. I wish more companies that made apps would port them over to consoles(Wii U, PS4, Xbox One) and hand helds like the 3DS and PS Vita. Kemco has a good thing going with their games on Nintendo machines.

The content in Asdivine Hearts that families need to be educated on are enticement to lust, lack of attire, violence, pervert characters, bad language, false gods, demons, demon possession, magic, and more. The spiritual nature in Asdivine Hearts fits with many of the Japanese role playing games I have played in the past. The Judeo Christian belief set is not encouraged in Asdivine Hearts.

I really like how the art work is done in Asdivine Hearts. The large character models during the conversations show talent. The music is cool in Asdivine Hearts too. The battle screens are like what we are used to in older Final Fantasy games. There are four difficulty settings in Asdivine Hearts making it more approachable to less experienced role playing gamers.

There are also neat anime cut scenes in Asdivine Hearts. This game fits perfectly on the Wii U with the off screen play. I was able to share the television set with my brother and still play Asdivine Hearts for this review. I wish more games did that kind of a thing. I love being able to save anywhere in Asdivine Hearts. Well outside of conversations, and battles.

The affinity system is neat for role playing gamers that like to dig into the strategy aspect of role playing games. Some of them can save your character from being put to sleep, poisoned, and more. Asdivine Hearts does require some grinding in certain parts. It never got too old for me though. I enjoyed battling monsters and leveling up. The story line in Asdivine Hearts caught my interest.
