Pokemon Battle Trozei is a match three downloadable game on the Nintendo 3DS hand held. It could be easy to compare Pokemon Battle Trozei to other match three apps on the iOS platform. However this is not the first match three Pokemon game. Previous match three Pokemon games pre-date the current popular iOS games.

We can see the heads of up to 700 different Pokemon in Pokemon Battle Trozei. Which would be awesome except we can only use a very limited number of them on any given battle screen. It would have been nice for some depth there. Especially considering the $7.99 price tag of Pokemon Battle Trozei.

The key to victory in Pokemon Battle Trozei is getting those crazy combos going. Those rack up serious damage to the opponent Pokemon. Who are attacking us while we are matching three to send attacks their direction. The faster you are, the better you will do.

Pokemon Battle Trozei has a fair learning curve. It starts really easy, and actually pretty boring. Then it turns up the heat little by little until you are seeing that GAME OVER screen. Sometimes a different support Pokemon will work, and other times it is about getting those combos fast and at the right times.

There is a single and a multi-player mode in Pokemon Battle Trozei. There is also a Streetpass functionality to Pokemon Battle Trozei. That is if anyone near you actually has a Nintendo 3DS, and has also turned on Streetpass. They would also need Pokemon Battle Trozei to Streetpass this game with you.

I like the Trozei Chance in Pokemon Battle Trozei. If you match three pairs of three or more quickly you will trigger it. At this point only two of the same Pokemon heads are needed to match. This is where some serious screen clearing can happen.

Pokemon Battle Trozei is the kind of a game Nintendo could easily port over to the iOS and Android platforms. It would most likely need a price drop on those systems to compete. It is a shame Pokemon Battle Trozei is only in download form - physical copies of games are so much better.
