Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley

When my hubby told me Harvest Moon was going all Minecraft I could not believe it. What was Natsume thinking? I forced myself to breath deeply, and give Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley on the Nintendo 3DS a chance. Immediately I could tell this is going to be my personal least favorite Harvest Moon game of all time.

As if this major blunder by Natsume was not big enough, the ESRB could not find any descriptors to reference the Comic Mischief, and Use of Alcohol. It is getting to the point where the ESRB is completely worthless. If they can't get it right in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley what can they get right?

Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley is heavy on the harvest goddess who happens to be half dressed exposing much of her skin. Another nail in the ESRB's coffin. The only thing that helps the scantily clad female character in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley is the poor graphics. Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley looks ugly.

Being able to pick up soil and move it around to make our very own landscapes sounds cool at first. It is tedious slow, and boring. Plus there are all these rules in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley. Our character can only jump two spaces up or down. You can only fish three spaces down, and so on.

I fought with the camera in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley all the time. I would put it one place, and it would swing around on me while running around. Natsume thought they would appease Christians by adding a harvest god character. They were wrong.

The music in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley is pleasant. The dialogue among the characters and the valley that spring forgot (at first) is tedious and boring. The magical harvest sprite characters can be of some help. Remembering what days and times certain characters are around is exasperating. Planting and water is much more intuitive. Which is about time in my book.

I do not like this direction for Harvest Mine. I mean Harvest Moon. I don't mind crafting things. I do not like the ugly graphics in Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley. The Lego looking landscape. All the enticement to lust, and religious indoctrination should have been left on the brainstorming floor. The ESRB dropped the ball in rating Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley big time.
