Cocoto Magic Circus 2

Did you miss Cocoto Magic Circus? Don't worry you were not the only one. Cocoto Magic Circus 2 is the first I heard of this series. Which is a shame since this is a fun little paper machete shooter. Confused? Let explain. The animals in Cocoto Magic Circus 2 look like they are made of Tearaway like paper machete. We shoot these critters.

The animals are not the only paper creatures in Cocoto Magic Circus 2. The bushes, trees, mountains and more look like they are made out of construction paper. All of this helps give Cocoto Magic Circus 2 an arts and crafts feel. It also helps the shooting violence seem not as bad.

Families are faced with multiple modes in Cocoto Magic Circus 2. They can play Sudden Death, Survival, and Exploration. Each has their own challenges. Each has their own goals as well. The longer you play Cocoto Magic Circus 2 the more content you will unlock.

Cocoto Magic Circus 2 allows the Wii U Gamepad and Wii Remotes to be used. It all depends on how many family members are playing this downloadable home console video game. The Gamepad is held sideways (horizontally) and players tap on the screen to shoot. A simple swipe from front to back reloads.

The music in Cocoto Magic Circus 2 is very upbeat, fun, fresh, vibrant, happy, and alive. The animals vanish when tapped with the balls we are firing. There are plenty more that come out to play in each of the levels. I like how this Wii U game changes up the goals. Get so many of a certain animal one level, and then get so many points the next. Protect one critter in one, and get as many as possible in a few seconds in the other.

Cocoto Magic Circus 2 is a shooting gallery game that families can embrace and enjoy. The various modes warrant the low price of admission. Being able to play together can be used to increase family time. I hope to see this franchise continue in the future.
