The strategy in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus can depend on your deck, and the cards that are played. I went toe to toe with some characters, and got completely dismantled by others. The cards are played out in two rows. There are monster cards that can attack, and spell cards that have a variety of effects.

The key I found in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus is those spell cards. Some of them can reverse attacks. Meaning the attack you make is actually returned to you. No easier way to lose hit points quicker than having your attack sent back to you. And then they get a turn to attack you.

If you win the rock paper scissor game before a match starts, be sure to pick the second turn. Why? The first turn in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus can not attack. Since the other player has not played any cards yet. This downloadable home console game does not allow you to attack before they place their cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus might be one of the most intense downloadable card games I have ever played. The depth of this game is astounding. The rules become apparent pretty fast. The game sometimes makes suggestions that players can not do, so I am not sure why it even comes up.

I have one major issue with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus - the font size to the text. Could it have been made any smaller? I had to get close to the television set just to read some of the tutorial instructions. Your opinion of Yu-Gi-Oh! will dictate how you feel about Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus. I am not fond of the hideous looking monsters, or using spells.

Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! will love being able to build their decks and play other human players online. Expect to lose a lot at first. Once you get a better deck, then things slowly start to get better. The same goes for learning what cards your opponent has played. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus is a solid title for fans of the card game. There is no losing the cards with this version.
