The Mania Planet expansion continues with Trackmania 2 Stadium. If you are familiar with any other game under the Mania Planet umbrella then you know what to expect - generally. At least in terms of layout, friends, etc. Those things are the same. The one major flaw is also brought across - rude, nasty, ugly, hate filled people.

There are plenty of solo tracks the player can race on in Trackmania 2 Stadium. Generally these are more fun than the multi-player race tracks in my opinion. The coolest part about Trackmania 2 Stadium is getting to build your very own race tracks. Then you can test out that track and see how it feels.

There are some crazy things players can do in Trackmania 2 Stadium. The pipes, driving up walls, monster jumps, and more will excite, scare, and thrill you. Falling off the track does not instantly stop your race either. It is up to you to reset your car at the beginning or last continuation point.

I found some neat things in Trackmania 2 Stadium when I went off the track. I could take my car for a swim. This was interesting, but ultimately did not help me earn a medal on that track. I marvel at the attention to detail in this Personal Computer game. Being able to make my own tracks is a real treat.

Playing others online may be one of the biggest selling points to Trackmania 2 Stadium. The problem is the offensive players who feel the need to spread their venom, anger, and ugliness to the rest of the community. I had problems learning certain skills early on, and all I received was hatred and then booted from the server. I was trying to learn how to race that track, and their negative attitudes reflect upon the game community as a whole.

Overall my experiences with Trackmania 2 Stadium on the Personal Computer were positive. I love the clean racing action in this game. I love being able to create my own stadiums. I love being able to share my creations with my friends. Trackmania 2 Stadium will stretch your definition of a racing game. Expectations have now been raised for future racing titles.
