Toy Story Smash It

Some people may describe Toy Story Smash It as similar to Angry Birds. But to me it is more like Bloom Box on the Wii. Buzz Lightyear throws bouncing balls at alien characters on top of block structures. The key is finding the weak points to throw the balls at. Then watch them come tumbling down.

The sixty levels in Toy Story Smash It may seem light at first. That was until I noticed how many aliens I would have to take out in a level. Toy Story Smash It is kind to players by slowly adding new features. My favorite is the exploding gift. Hit that, and you can pretty much be assured that one hit has completed the level for you.

Toy Story Smash It is like many apps on the market. Earn stars in levels for your performance. When you have earned enough stars you open the next world. Then you can complete the levels in the first, or move on to the second, or third. I think you catch my drift with that.

The Toy Story graphics look great in Toy Story Smash It. I enjoyed watching Buzz run around the levels. I felt bad for the aliens when blocks hit their heads or if they fell from a tall height. They seems to be okay as I noticed them running off the screen in multiple levels.

It can take some work to figure out the weak points in certain levels. Thankfully a restart button is right on the upper part of the screen. Buzz only has so many balls to throw in each level. So being efficient and taking out as many as possible with one ball is the first thing I looked for.

Additional levels should be coming in the future for Toy Story Smash It. Disney Mobile is fantastic about treating those who own their apps. I expect that will happen in the future. Toy Story Smash It is a neat little physics puzzle done in surprising 3D. I wonder if they plan on porting this over to the Nintendo 3DS.
