The Tiny Troopers are back on the
iPhone/iPod Touch platform in Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops. Players take
control of a small squad of troopers who are out on missions of
destruction. They blow up things, shoot enemy soldiers, and use powerful
weapons to complete tasks.
The graphics in Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops are on the small side. Which
is actually a good thing when we are talking violence because it is more
difficult to see the blood and death. It also means the character of the
soldiers is also lost - at least compared to a PC version of the
previous game.
Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops gives gamers three difficulty settings.
There is one bullet, two bullets, or three bullets. A single bullet is a
really easy setting. Double bullets is medium, and triple bullets is the
hard mode. The difference between the modes is how accurate the enemy
troops are. Also the accuracy of your troopers.
Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops contains multiple goals, and multiple paths.
Be very careful of the land mines. They will end your game with a
quickness if you are not careful. Multiple scenarios with multiple
levels will keep most gamers busy for a week or two. Longer if you have
to beat it on the triple bullets.
Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops left me wondering why I was running around
killing those other soldiers. Is the war ethical? Is the government I am
representing acting in an ethical manner? Those questions may be too
deep for an app. Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops is for the aggressive gamer
who has bouts of patience.
The controls in Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops are easy to pick up. Tap
where you want your troops to go. Swipe down the screen to avoid things
like a tank shooting at you. Drag a powerful weapon on top of what you
want to blow up. Tiny Troopers 2 Special Ops is just that simple to
play.
