Temple Run Oz

Disney Mobile and Imangi Studios have partnered up again. This time it is mixing Temple Run 2 with Oz. The result is Temple Run Oz. We are running down the yellow brick road avoiding this nasty flying monkeys. We slide under logs, jump over rocks, collect coins and upgrade our character.

Taking an air balloon ride is one of the coolest parts in Temple Run Oz. It also helps break up the game play. Which can get stale after some time. I think now would be a good point to bring up I hate having to swipe whether I go left or right. Too often I do not swipe right and my guy jumps to his death.

The graphics in Temple Run Oz impressed me. Especially with the lightning effects, and the yellow brick road. We can take damage from a variety of things. Expect to die early in Temple Run Oz, and to die often. We just reset at the beginning and start the process over again.

The music in Temple Run Oz conveys the epic feel of the environment. Temple Run Oz makes me feel like I am in some grand world full of awe and wonder. The various goals and character level ups keep Temple Run Oz interesting as you do much of the same thing.

Temple Run Oz is a great tie in to the Disney movie. Much like they did with Temple Run Brave. Temple Run 2 fans will immediately fall in love with Temple Run Oz. The subtle improvements to the Temple Run franchise are sure to please. I enjoyed my time with Temple Run Oz. I will be playing for some time now.

My one concern about Temple Run Oz is the addictive nature. It is so easy to keep saying: "Just one more run, just one more run." Then you realize your iPhone needs a charge because you have been playing so long. There are also in app purchases for those who are not willing to work through levels to earn coins.
