Sporos
SCORE: 87
Sporos is a puzzle game that involves
placing these light emitters in the right spots to illuminate all of the
places on a level. It sounds so simple. The difficulty comes in when
players need to use only certain kinds of pieces. Meaning it may only
shoot light left and right. And you need up and down.
Sporos allows the players so many hints in a certain amount of time. So
cautious players will be careful with using those hints. It will get you
past a level, but you may need to wait until the next day for another
hint. That is if you get stuck again. I found I usually could make it
through a few more levels before getting stuck again.
I appreciate games that can be relaxing. Sporos is one of those games. I
enjoyed the ambiance of this game as I progressed through levels. Not
being able to figure a level out can add to the stress. Taking a break
can be a wise course of action if you are feeling stressed about not
being able to solve a level.
Expect to exercise your brain while playing Sporos on the iPhone/iPod
Touch platform. Planning to cover all the bases with the limited amount
of resources can be transferred to a variety of different professions.
All ages capable of cognitive comprehension can enjoy Sporos.
I love the theme of bringing light to a darkened area. That concept
works really well in America. There are three hundred levels in the
Essential Labs, and two hundred more levels in Experimental Labs. Sporos
has a free version so you can try and game before you buy it, and a
premium version. Expect to spend weeks beating all the levels in this
hand held gem.
