Old Clockmakers Riddle

This tiny little town has been cursed and it is up to the player of Old Clockmaker's Riddle to free them. How will you free them? By playing match three levels. There are certain special gems that need to be matched with two or more of the same kind vertically or horizontally. When the player hits the required number (for that level) they can move on.

Old Clockmaker's Riddle is very deceptive at first. I beat a level and I freed a building. I could use my gems (acquired in the levels) to purchase tools and upgrades to the tools. I was then able to use those tools in the levels. It did not take this game very long to require I complete two levels to free a house, and then three levels. I initially thought I would breeze through Old Clockmaker's Riddle. That assumption was quickly shattered.

As I started to play Old Clockmaker's Riddle I realized it has an eerie dark and dank feel to it. Then I got to the match three screens, and it looked a lot better. Freeing a house from the curse improves the graphics of the town as well. I found the music in the match three screens to be relaxing the soothing. The town music accentuates the mood of that town.

Old Clockmaker's Riddle is very kind to players. There are two different difficulty settings for families. The relaxed mode is non-timed so you can beat the level at your leisure. Or you can try and beat the clock. I prefer taking my time. I despise spending time on a level only to not beat in quick enough. Then I have to repeat what I previously did.

Old Clockmaker's Riddle is one of those games you can try before you buy. So you can see if the game interests you before purchasing it. If you decide to purchase it, then you will spend $4.99. I know of plenty other match three games for $0.99. Old Clockmaker's Riddle is a solid match three game with fifty levels to play through.
