Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is the perfect mixture of an anime adventure and the Tales of series. There is so much of both of those in this Playstation 3 home console video game. The story will pull at your heart strings from beginning until the end. Players are taken on one long adventure.

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is a work of art. The graphics, and music alone help this game stand apart. We are treated to beautiful anime movies, and then it is brought into story plots, and finally we move around. The graphics do look different when we play the game from the anime movies.

There is action adventure violence in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. Players start with their wizard and then get to use familiars. Familiars start as warriors from the players heart, and then they morph into monsters that are fought in the field. There is a town where swimsuits are the required attire. There is even an awkward scene where a little girl is showing off her swimsuit.

The musical score in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is fantastic. It helps this PS3 game flow from start to finish. Drippy the lord of the fairies likes to use the word flipping all the time. There are other mild insults and words used here and there in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. It is much cleaner than this reviewer was expecting, and that is a great sign.

There are two reactions to the British voice acting in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. Some people love it, and others are not thrilled about it. Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch contains a wide array of side quests the player can perform. Many of them have to do with taking a piece of heart from one person and giving it to another. Maybe one person can resist temptation better than another so this game lets the player take from one to give to the other.

The main character in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is Oliver. He loses his mother, and finds out about a parallel world where there is a match. His hope is to find his mother in the other world, and bring her back to life in his world. He is referred to as "the pure hearted one." This allows him to use magic to defeat the evil in the other world.

Oliver runs across a diverse cast of characters in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. There are other wizards, sages, thieves, gluttons, monsters, evil characters, and more. A wide array of concepts, world views, and ideas are presented in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. One character is a spirit that the player can communicate with.

The battle system in Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is extremely fascinating. Players send out familiars to fight for them. They have a gauge and when it is depleted they must be swapped out. Players can also switch to the main character to throw spells, heal, use items, etc. It may sounds scary, but it is very intuitive.

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is a difficult game. Grinding is a necessity in certain portions. It can also help to do side questions to help the players stats. Part of the fun of Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is listening to or reading the dialogue. Plenty of humor was peppered into the comments made by certain characters.
