Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
SCORE: 64
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is
the most styled video game this reviewer has ever seen or played. It
feels like a movie, or episodes of an anime television show (each
chapter being an episode). Older family members watch the story unfold
and draw them in little by little.
The main game play mechanism in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
is to fight other characters. We do run around town, and areas of the
world. We can purchase items, eat the Ramen Shop, and perform quests to
townspeople. Purchasing of health items is extremely important in this
game.
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 helps the continuity of the game
by not replenishing the health of the player. After winning in a fight
your health stays the same. Players can eat or use health items to
replenish, but it does not naturally return to the starting position.
This can lead to losing matches due to low health and no items to fix
the situation.
There are intense boss battles in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm
3 where players will need to press certain button combinations at the
right time. There are also normal and ranged attacks that are used to
wear the boss down. The biggest part of the boss battles is avoiding
attacks that are coming your players direction.
The special effects in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 can be
intense. Some of the powerful attacks by certain characters is crazy.
Battles are fought in a 3D circle. Players can run around, attack from
behind, or the side while their opponent is charging up.
Locally two family members can play Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja
Storm 3. The Xbox Live online mode can allow for up to eight players.
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 feels like playing a storyline
in the Naruto universe. There is even a Goku costume DLC and trading
card included in the package.
