Vita game that looks even remotely family friendly gets our attention at
Family Friendly Gaming. I really like playing games on the PS Vita. I
want more games on it that are kid friendly. Indoor Sports World comes
close in some regards and not perfect in others.
Many of the places we play games in Indoor Sports World are in bars or
pubs. Not the most family friendly places. An odd choice of locales too.
The four games in Indoor Sports World are Air Hockey, Darts, Pool and
Snooker. These games can be played multiple different ways.
When you start to play Indoor Sports World it takes a picture of you.
Which comes up all the time. As well as the picture of the NPC or real
human you are playing against. That could leave to some privacy issues
or even offensive images seen. I ran into at least one woman showing off
cleavage.
The controls in Indoor Sports World are intuitive and the various
diverse rules are explained. Some games are harder to play than others.
Even in Practice mode Air Hockey can be exhausting. Keeping my finger on
the front touch screen for lengthy games is tiring.
Indoor Sports World is bright and colorful. This game looks great. It
sounds okay. It looks like they went for authentic atmospheres. But
during the down times where there are less people. You can equip better
gear as you unlock it. There is also a store where gear can be
purchased.
If the locations in Indoor Sports World do not bother you then there is
a lot of replay value. The price of Indoor Sports World is pretty low
which means families get a good value. I hope to see more games like
Indoor Sports World in the coming months.
