Dress to Play Magic Bubbles

Match three puzzle games need something to bring the players back to the game. Dropping object puzzle games also need a reason for the players to come back. Dressing your character up in different outfits needs something for the player to collect. Dress to Play Magic Bubbles on the Nintendo 3DS mixes all of these things together.

At the start of Dress to Play Magic Bubbles players pick a boy or girl character. They can then dress them up, change their look, and play the main game. What is the main game in Dress to Play Magic Bubbles? It is three objects that fall from the bottom of the top screen to the top of the top of the top screen.

Players watch their character turn on a machine on the bottom screen. Then the bubbles rise to the top of the screen. At this point players match three of the same colors. Certain items are inside bubbles and these are what we collect. Once a level is complete, then the player can spend the collectibles on new clothing.

Playing levels can also earn the players achievements. These achievements in Dress to Play Magic Bubbles unlock things as well. What kinds of things? Hair color, and eye color come to mind. The more I played Dress to Play Magic Bubbles the more I enjoyed unlocking new content.

The 3D effects in Dress to Play Magic Bubbles are okay. I have seen better and I have seen worse. The bright and soft colors will appeal to the female side of the family more than the male. The same goes for dressing up characters. The puzzle game play can appeal to all aspects of the family.

I enjoyed my time with Dress to Play Magic Bubbles. It is a neat little downloadable title that mixes multiple styles of games in a way I have not seen before. There are some odd things like bat wings we can put on the characters.
