Dangle is a cute little game on the iOS platform from Chillingo. The
premise is very simple. Drop your rope down, and snag it on these fluffy
little guys. Drag them safely back to the top. This would be simple
except for we face problems like spikes, different colored characters,
and running out of rope.
If you get a character in Dingle Dangle too close to a spike they will pop out of existence. I felt so bad for those little cute critters. Dingle Dangle follows the quintessential app formula. We are graded on different things, and earn stars in the levels. Those stars open up new worlds. There are three worlds in total.
In each level of Dingle Dangle we have a time to beat, and a certain number of these fur balls to bring back to the flying ship. Dingle Dangle is very kind in explaining new concepts to the family member playing. We can use the fur balls as battering rams, or to extend them beyond the reach of our rope.
Dingle Dangle contains sixty levels in total. The experience can be over in under an hour. There is an additional world that says coming soon. Hopefully Dingle Dangle will get up to one hundred levels at some point. I like the idea even if it is a little limited. There are gems that can be collected and they are used to purchase tools that help the player win levels.
Dingle Dangle is a solid game on the iOS platform. Families will learn things like how to shake the little guys into a straight line. That way they can fit up narrow crevasses. As I finished playing Dingle Dangle I started to wonder what the captain was going to do with all these guys. Especially considering I fed many of them in the levels.
