Barbie Dreamhouse Party
Dreamhouse Party is a new party game for girls on the Wii U/Wii/Nintendo
DS/Nintendo 3DS. This review is for the Wii U and Wii versions of Barbie
Dreamhouse Party. Family Friendly Gaming was provided the Wii version of
Barbie Dreamhouse Party for this review.
This home console game starts players inside the Barbie Dreamhouse. Those colors looked washed out, and not that great. Thankfully the mini games look better, and so do all nine rooms. The little cut scenes look okay as well. The characters in Barbie Dreamhouse Party look like the dolls brought to life.
The story in Barbie Dreamhouse Party starts off with Skipper accidentally locking down the entire house. Girls then need to go to each of the nine rooms and play a mini game. Then all the mini games can be played by themselves from the second floor.
Once the girls arrive in the rooms in Barbie Dreamhouse Party they have to find a secret hidden item. Technically four of them. These four items are put on pedestals in the right order. What is the right order? Girls have to keep trying until they find it. Normally it does not take long. There is one item for each of the girls.
Up to four family members can enjoy the mini games in Barbie Dreamhouse Party. The nine mini games range from timing, to pointing and more. Each of the mini games in Barbie Dreamhouse Party revolve around a Barbie related event like putting on make up, or dressing up a certain way.
There is some neat music in between rooms in Barbie Dreamhouse Party. I wish that was fleshed out more in this home console party game. There are plenty of positive and encouraging comments made in Barbie Dreamhouse Party as well. Young girls will appreciate Barbie Dreamhouse Party.
