AiRace Speed

AiRace Speed

AiRace Speed is a fast paced, down the pipe racing game with space ships. Yes I did say space ships. Players get some sweet looking flying machines in this Nintendo 3DS downloadable title. Every so many levels the ship will change. Which brings new challenges.

The 3D effects in AiRace Speed are insane. I had to turn off the 3D because I am a movement gamer, and my eyes and the screen got off track. Which gave me two screens to see at the same time. The end result was confusion and a crash. So I found I play better without the 3D.

AiRace Speed is intense, and difficult. Players can speed up, slow down, and rotate their vehicle towards the left or towards the right. After a couple of levels you may wonder why anyone would ever want to go faster. Especially after crashing into so many walls, objects, and everything else this game throws at you.

The reason a gamer will want to speed us is to beat a level faster. If you are like me, and compiling those three second penalties for crashing; you might be content to go at normal speed. You might also be content to just complete a level. I certainly was while I was playing AiRace Speed. Who even cares about how fast a course is beaten?

The group that calls themselves hardcore gamers will eat up AiRace Speed. They are the ones who are going to want to go even faster. It is neat to see QubicGames provide for the two major groups of gamers. Hardcore gamers can enjoy the difficulty and speed runs of AiRace Speed. Casual gamers can enjoy just completing a level.

The rockish music in AiRace Speed will keep you awake. The throbbing in your head may not immediately cease and desist. AiRace Speed can be used to improve your hand eye coordination. The violent content in AiRace Speed is when your ship explodes into something. This is short lived though, since AiRace Speed will quickly reset you at the last continuation point.
