Zumba Fitness has been growing since its
inception. Since not everyone can enjoy these latin flavored classes in
their home towns, a video game makes perfect sense. Zumba Fitness Rush
on the Xbox 360 for Kinect is not the first Zumba video game. It may be
the most realistic. Thanks to Kinect Zumba Fitness Rush the dancers can check on the
player. It can tell if you are doing the moves or being lazy.
The ESRB correctly identified certain lyrical issues in Zumba Fitness
Rush. The good news is most of the lyrics in Zumba Fitness Rush are in
another language. So we are not really sure what most of it is saying.
The flavor of Zumba Fitness Rush seems less diverse than other fitness
games I have played. Zumba fans may like that though because it is
closer to the roots of this exercise movement.
Speaking of movements, I think I saw some belly dancer kind of motions
in certain dances in Zumba Fitness Rush. This is the other descriptor
the ESRB denoted - mild suggestive themes. Some of these instructors can
do things with their hips that I can't do. To be blunt I did not know it
was humanly possible.
Zumba Fitness Rush includes forty-two all new routines and twenty-four
international dance styles. There are three more instructors, and
five new venues. Families can shed the pounds thanks to Zumba Fitness
Rush. This Xbox 360 game includes various achievements, and unlockable
videos. Zumba Fitness Rush also keeps track of your statistics.
Getting up and dancing is a fun way to exercise. I can see the appeal to
Zumba Fitness Rush. The more I did the dance routines the better I got
at them, which gave me more stars. Which provided a nice feeling of
satisfaction. I feel that this is the most realistic Zumba Fitness video
game on the market. Zumba Fitness Rush does an awesome job of tracking
movements and matching them to the on screen dancer.
There is one thing that does not make much sense to me about Zumba Fitness Rush.
The ESRB gave the Wii Zumba Fitness 2 game a 'T' for Teen rating. With
the only descriptor being Mild Lyrics. Whereas Zumba Fitness Rush got an
'E10+ for Everyone 10+ rating. Zumba Fitness Rush has two descriptors.
It is almost like the ESRB switched the ratings by accident.
