Worm vs Birds

Ever since those birds got angry at those pigs, payback has been coming. Over the years Family Friendly Gaming has played apps that have some connection to Angry Birds. Worm vs Birds has the best connection we have ever seen. The worms are tired of being bird food, so they are going on the attack. The birds sit in different locations on the screen and we launch worms at them with a variety of different skills.

The art in Worm vs Birds is fantastic. I am still enjoying the little details in this high quality title. We are knocking the feathers off of birds. Their souls will rise off the screen after we kill them with the worms. The diverse backgrounds look great in Worm vs Birds. Certain levels in Worm vs Birds have camouflaged birds. It took me a bit to figure out why these levels did not end when I could see no other birds.

The music in Worm vs Birds is very catchy. It got stuck in my head and I found myself smiling while listening to it. There are also comical sounds throughout Worm vs Birds. Some aspects of Worm vs Birds reminds me of the Worms franchise. I would not be surprised to find out there was some connection between the two.

There are sixty levels in Worm vs Birds. Some are extremely simple and can be beaten in one shot. Like many apps out there, we have to collect so many stars in Worm vs Birds to unlock later worlds. So the better you do early on, the farther you will be able to progress. Worm vs Birds can get difficult later on.

Worm vs Birds shows a guide for where your launcher will send what you are launching. Paying close attention to what you are launching. Some split into three, others explode into multiple balls, some go through walls, etc. Excluding the ones that go through the walls, we find the screen edges are treated as walls. So bouncing the balls off the walls can achieve success. Worm vs Birds also allows the balls to bounce around much longer than I would have expected. This is appreciated though.
