The more we get back into PC gaming here
at Family Friendly Gaming, the more we are impressed. The independent
developer circuit is huge on the PC. Steam is kind enough to support
many of these developers. FFG was provided a download code for
Unmechanical on Steam. This Personal Computer (PC) game would be right
at home on the PS3 or Xbox 360 in my opinion.

We have a little robot head looking guy. He has a propeller on his head,
and these little arms below the major body/head portion. He has a
tractor beam that is used to move objects around this puzzle video game.
And this game is a major puzzler. I was consistently trying to figure
out how to solve an area so I could progress to the next one.

Parts of Unmechanical are dark and dank. We are underground, go through
pipes, and more. Objects we can interact with are generally easy to see.
I love how some of the light sources shine against the darkness. There
is something so wonderful about being a light to dark and dank region.
Animations are high quality in this PC game.

The music in Unmechanical is quiet. There are some mechanical special
effect sounds that fit the exact situation on the screen. I personally
would have liked some music that is more memorable. Getting stuck in a
puzzle is annoying and there is no reset button. Instead we have to quit
to the main menu, and then go back into our game at the last save.

Unmechanical can be a difficult games. The puzzles get progressively
more difficult as we progress. F1 can be pressed for a small hint in how
to solve the puzzle you are stuck on. There are two major endings to
Unmechanical. It all depends on what you do near the end of the game.
The main reason to replay Unmechanical would be to see the two different
game endings. Aside from that once the puzzles are solved there is no
		more challenge to them.

Unmechanical is a thought provoking puzzle game with a very unique
character. I can see Talawa Games and Teotl Studios both doing well in
their future video game releases. A lot of effort was put into
Unmechanical. I hope to see sequels. Maybe even a port to the Wii U in
		the coming years.
