Transformers Prime Season One
SCORE: 84
"One shall stand, and one shall fall."
That sentence is well known to Transformers fans. And that phrase is
used in Transformers Prime Season One. Family Friendly Gaming was
treated with a copy of this four DVD set. Ten hours of Transformers
entertainment is in this package. Twenty-six episodes, along with some
bonus features are included in Transformers Prime Season One.
The computer generated graphics look great in Transformers Prime Season
One. The bots and cons have distinctive looks to them. The humans look
okay in Transformers Prime Season One. They play a smaller role in this
show, which is fine with me. Transformers Prime Season One contains a
fair amount of violence. Robots shoot one another, rip off limbs, and
damage one another in a variety of ways.
Transformers Prime Season One also contains numerous acts of heroism and
defense of life. Which is really neat to see. The humans find curiosity
can lead to harm. But other times they are uniquely qualified to help
out. It is nice to see the writers finding interesting ways to utilize
the human characters. Kids will be able to identify and relate to these
kids very quickly. As a parent I identified with the parental
characters.
Transformers Prime Season One has a little bit different take on the
mythology than previous Transformer television shows, and movies.
However that is need in so many ways. Some characters in Transformers
Prime Season One are killed off, and others are brought back. We are
introduced to a variety of ancient artifacts, and dark energon.
The voice acting in Transformers Prime Season One is top notch. They
have some high profile names in Transformers Prime Season One. Some of
the lesser roles include well known voice actors as well. So
Transformers Prime Season One is deep in the talent department. The
music in Transformers Prime Season One is epic. It makes me feel like I
am in store for something monumental.
The price for Transformers Prime Season One is very fair considering the
amount of content. I can see Transformers Prime Season One becoming a
favorite of both boys and girls. There are female characters in
Transformers Prime Season One, and they are used properly. Transformers
Prime Season One can teach respect, caring for others, and doing the
right thing.
Transformers Prime Season One leaves a few things up in the air. Which
is why there is a Transformers Prime Season Two. Not on DVD and Blu-ray
yet, but on the Hub. I am very curious to see how it plays out. I really
hope they bring in some new Autobots going forward. The core group is
solid, but at times feels over used. It would be neat to see a rotation
of characters on missions.
I let my own boys watch Transformers Prime Season One with me. The
youngest one got aggressive near the end, but otherwise they handled
themselves quite well. They really got into Transformers Prime Season
One, almost as much as I did. It is neat to see this franchise given
such a high quality product. Kudos to Shout Factory for releasing
Transformers Prime Season One.
