I was watching The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection.
This package contains a Blu-ray disc, and two DVDs. The Blu-ray has both
of The Princess Diaries movies and a few bonus features. The first DVD
contains the first movie with more bonus features, and the second DVD
includes the second movie also with more bonus features.
If you are not familiar with The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary
2-Movie Collection let me explain what happens in this franchise. A
gangly fifteen year old finds out she is actually a princess to a small
country. She is also next in line of the throne. This was kept from her
so she could live a normal life. But life happens, and she is needed in
her home land of Genovia.
Mia (played by Anne Hathaway) has to decide if she want to become a
princess. Her grandmother (played by Julie Andrews) wants to guide her
in how to become the next queen. The second movie revolves around her
coronation and a challenge to the throne. She can only become queen if
she gets married. This deals with arranged marriage versus marrying who
you actually love.
The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection is something
many girls dream about. We all want to be treated like princesses and
queens. We all want to rule over thousands of people. The reality is few
ever get the chance. There is an underlying theme of girl power in The
Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection. As well as some
environmentalism.
There is one moment in The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie
Collection that children may ask about. They are looking for a proper
husband for Mia. She finds a man that she finds attractive - and yes
they are looking at shallow outward appearances only. A comment is made
this man has a boyfriend. Children may question why a guy would have a
boyfriend.
The clothing in The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection
ranges, but most of it is splendid. I love how the majority of the
attire in The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection is
conservative. There are some outfits that show more than others. The
wide array of characters in The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary
2-Movie Collection play their roles marvelously.
We can enjoy bloopers, outtakes, deleted scenes, commentary, music
videos, and behind the scenes content in the bonuses on the discs in the
The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection package. Many
of them contain humor. In fact both movies contains a fair amount of
humor. I do believe the first one is funnier than the second one.
The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection weighs a
variety of topics families can discuss. How important is duty and honor?
