The Marvel Super Hero Squad Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3
SCORE: 82
Shout Factory is continuing their releases
of The Marvel Super Hero Squad with The Marvel Super Hero Squad Infinity
Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3. This DVD contains seven episodes of the
cartoon from season two. The episodes are Fate of Destiny, The Ballad of
Beta Bill, Days, Nights, And Weekends of Future Past, This Man-Thing!
This Monster, The Devil Dinosaur You Say, Planet Hulk, and 1602.
The Marvel Super Hero Squad Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3 is a
quirky little world of Marvel characters that are half pints in so many
ways. There is super hero violence in this show. Much of it is not
shown, but the results are. We don't see a character get hit, but we do
see them flying into a rock. Some of the humor in The Marvel Super Hero
Squad Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3 is visual. Like two super
heroes tied together like pretzels.
I really enjoyed the voice acting in The Marvel Super Hero Squad
Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3. I recognized certain voices from
other franchises. So many people tell me they think I would make a good
voice actor. I know the job is not easy, and I respect what they do.
Certain characters will display attitude and/or use minor name calling.
Much of the humor comes from characters not understanding the meaning of
certain words.
There are no bonus features in The Marvel Super Hero Squad Infinity
Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3. And this is about half of one cartoon show
season. So the price is lower. The seven episodes tell a story arc. The
only bad part is we do not see it completed. The Dark Surfer sends six
heroes into different worlds, times, and dimensions. Each hero then has
an episode about where they ended up.
If you are familiar with the Marvel universe then you will know where
the different stories come from. Episodes like Planet Hulk are
simplified for children. The whole devil dinosaur is really strange in
my opinion. I was dismayed that 1602 was so historically inaccurate. Its
like the writers wanted to trash people of good morals, and admit to
being too lazy to actually comprehend dangers of the past.
Plenty of guest stars are presented in The Marvel Super Hero Squad
Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3. I like how the High evolutionary is
shown as a bad guy, as well as his religious belief in evolution. The
commentary on his trying to turn a profit from that belief system is
spot on with what is happening in our age.
Kids find various points of humor with The Marvel Super Hero Squad
Infinity Gauntlet Season 2 Volume 3. Our seven year old did get pretty
wound up after watching some episodes. We had to stop him from attacking
his brother. So violence is a possibility from those not mentally mature
enough to handle it. Parents need to keep that in mind.
