Chillingo has become the premiere video game publisher on the iOS
platform? They consistently release high quality titles. Many of these
titles are universal. That means they work on the iPhone/iPod
Touch/iPad. Sly Fox is the latest high quality title from Chillingo.
This game revolves around a fox with a helicopter like blade with his
tail. He can fly all around the screen. Yes it does remind us of Tails
from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Sly Fox is after chickens. He has
to fly them so high to get away. The chickens do not want to be caught
which is where the challenge comes into play.
Sly Fox looks really good on the Sly Fox. We destroy certain objects
like Angry Birds. Sometimes the chickens are stuck in places we can not
reach. There are also TNT boxes that can be exploded. Certain levels
require us to blow things up to get to the chickens. Sly Fox is very
nice to the chickens as he flies them up.
Sly Fox has wonderful music. I love listening to this hand held video
game. The special effect sounds in Sly Fox fit the theme of this title.
There are between sixty and seventy levels in Sly Fox. Each level grants
the player so many stars. It will take most players a few hours to
complete all of the levels in Sly Fox.
Sly Fox adds new game play mechanics as the player progresses. Having to
be quiet is one of the most difficult game play mechanics I have ever
played in any video game (app or otherwise). Perseverance will help you
though. Sly Fox is upbeat, fun, and fresh. The twist on what we have to
do is accurate to the animal kingdom. Although the fox would have a
problem eating that many chickens unless he is providing for his family.
