Konami Announces Puzzle Chasers for Facebook

In Puzzle Chasers, each level of the game starts with an incomplete puzzle. The player selects an empty space on the puzzle board and is presented with two to five random pieces that they need to pick to fit in the space. If correct, the piece is placed to help complete the picture. There's a limited amount of time to complete the puzzle and players can follow the story or repeat any puzzle they have completed by looking in their journal. To add to the difficulty, puzzle pieces are randomized so the player will never play the same puzzle twice.

Simple Life

Most intelligent people yearn for the simple life. There is something so magical about doing less. I enjoy an entire weekend with no television, computers and phones. Spending quality time with loved ones is better without the stresses of all those things. It also makes me think about being content with what one has, and not keeping up with the Joneses.

As wonderful as all of that is, it has little to do with my review of Simple Life on the iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad. I suppose in some ways Simple Life tries to fulfill some of those on the previously mentioned hand helds. Simple Life threw me for a loop at first. Especially when I let my first born son play it. He could not figure out what to do with it.

To be fair Simple Life tells the player if you press the 'I' button in the upper right hand corner. Tilt the machine to have your character move in that direction, and tap around the screen for different interactions. Reminds me of the Moogies. Simple Life has a few different kinds of things to do. Flying around in space is one of the better ones in this app.

Players are provided the choice of a male or female character. There is not much difference between the two. The background graphics in Simple Life are beautiful. The down side is there are not many screens to go through. Simple Life costs ninety-nine cents. The level of content compared to the price is very close.

The goal of Simple Life is to relax the player. It did not fulfill that goal for me, however I can see how it could. Especially if you just enjoy the backgrounds and embrace doing very little. I feel that there is an audience out there for Simple Life that will enjoy this app. It is one of the most unique apps I have ever played.
