Shark Dash

One of the things millions respect about Family Friendly Gaming is we call them as we see them. We do not hold grudges against companies if they publish products that are not received well. We do not let the other media outlets influence how we review a game. We do not let loud mouthed activists sway how we vote with our scores. Every product received a fair shake from start to finish.

Why do I bring that up?  Because I know some people are not that fond of GameLoft, especially certain apps. That does not sway me though. Shark Dash is a great flinger game. What is a flinger game? You grab the tail of the main character in Shark Dash and fling him the direction he needs to go. In Shark Dash we get to play a shark. His love was stolen by the rubber duckies. So he is out to chomp as many of them as he can.

The aquatic look and feel to Shark Dash is very cute. The duckies have a certain amount of mischief that is displayed visually. The various objects react in the physical environment. Your shark can only be out of the water for so many seconds, and you only have so many shots before the water drains out completed. The shark does eat the duckies by opening his mouth wide, and the vanish into it as he shuts it.

The music in Shark Dash is fun, fresh, upbeat, alive, and energetic. The objects in Shark Dash have special effect sounds. Some of them you will recognize instantly. I will not spoil the fun of what you will hear in Shark Dash. My personal favorite is bouncing off objects with the shark, which is followed closely by going through a pipe.

The four environments in Shark Dash contain ninety-six levels. Each of these environments is diverse. Players need to collect coins while playing Shark Dash and the duckies. Plus we are graded on how many shots we use to complete the level. The price of Shark Dash is fantastic and there are no annoying ads. I feel that Shark Dash is worth the price of admission. More levels will be coming soon, so that will encourage replay as well.

The flinging in Shark Dash works great. I love the guide to show me where I will impact an item. This helped me play various levels in Shark Dash. Some of the levels in Shark Dash are more difficult than others. I only got stuck a few times, and had to try new things in multiple replays. Shark Dash is a cute little game that all ages of the family can enjoy.
