Konami Announces Puzzle Chasers for Facebook

In Puzzle Chasers, each level of the game starts with an incomplete puzzle. The player selects an empty space on the puzzle board and is presented with two to five random pieces that they need to pick to fit in the space. If correct, the piece is placed to help complete the picture. There's a limited amount of time to complete the puzzle and players can follow the story or repeat any puzzle they have completed by looking in their journal. To add to the difficulty, puzzle pieces are randomized so the player will never play the same puzzle twice.

Popping Mania

Never ever think all of the creative ideas have been expressed in the video game industry. Once any of us thinks that, we get our perspective adjusted by a game release. Popping Mania is very simple in concept, and has depth that will allow families to replay it. Players are granted the control of a sling shot shooting character.

I know what some of ya'll are thinking. Please do not freak out because the character in Popping Mania is shooting down balloons. If you hit a bird, or snowflake then points are deducted. The twelve different themes in Popping Mania provide the variety gamers are looking for. Different colored balloons can contain different powers.

Popping Mania includes two main modes. The Challenge and Arcade. Players can enjoy twelve levels in the Arcade mode, and infinite replay in the Challenge mode. Players have to be strategic in the Challenge mode though. They need to get more shots, and not run out of time. I had fun playing Popping Mania on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

The music in Popping Mania fits the theme, and helped to relax me. I found it soothing as I lined up my character to pop some balloons. The controls in Popping Mania are simple. Move your character up and down on the left side, and tap in front to launch a shot. The balloons move at different speeds, so lining up more than one at a time is a frequent occurrence.

The main lesson in Popping Mania is hand eye coordination. Players learn to line up what they shoot with an object that moves into range. I feel that Popping Mania is worth the ninety-nine cents it sells for. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for this app. Popping Mania is the least violent sling shot game I have ever played.
