I like puzzle games. I enjoy puzzle games.
Oil Spill Black Gold is an interesting and fascinating puzzle game that
kept me on my toes. Players have so many drops of oil. They tap a space
on the grid to pop a bubble of oil. This sends oil in all four
directions. If it hits another oil bubble it either makes it larger or
pops it. If it pops then you have a cool combo in the works. Get enough
of them going and oil is flying every which way.
The graphics in Oil Spill Black Gold are okay. I did not find anything
offensive. The oil is black which can set the entire tone of the game.
The grid is done in lighter colors to offset. The fire element in Oil
Spill Black Gold is a neat addition, and makes great walls. The
gentleman in Oil Spill Black Gold is a humorous looking character.
The humor of the main character in Oil Spill Black Gold fits the theme
of the music. The music in this app is a mixture of Looney Tunes and
circus music. I am not insulting Oil Spill Black Gold in any way, shape
or form. The music in Oil Spill Black Gold brings a smile to my face,
and brightened my day. It offsets the darker tone of dealing with black
oil.
The forty levels in Oil Spill Black Gold get progressively more
difficult. Expect to ooze through the first few. Then Oil Spill Black
Gold requires the player to think about how to solve it. There are two
modes in Oil Spill Black Gold - Puzzle, and Classic. This is something
that improves the replay value of this app.
The touch screen controls work marvelously in Oil Spill Black Gold.
Figuring out where to start your chain is where Oil Spill Black Gold
shines. I learned to plot out my moves on a grid thanks to Oil Spill
Black Gold. I learned to think about how each oil bubble would perform
if I put it into play. I had a good time playing Oil Spill Black Gold. I
believe it is worth the ninety-nine cents.
