Monsuno Destiny
SCORE: 79
I have seen Monsuno toys in the store. To
myself and my kids it looked like a Beyblade clone. It will be
interesting to see how the kids react to the toys after watching five
episodes of the show. This show borrows heavily from a variety of other
shows on the market. Rolls it all together into a fascinating, and fun
package.
Monsuno Destiny contains Clash, Courage, Underground, Wicked, and
Knowledge. The episodes will take around two hours to watch. Like the
length of a movie. There is also a bonus feature in Monsuno Destiny -
Character Bios. Chase and Lock both have a character bios. This gives
background information on the two characters.
Monsuno Destiny does include one reference to evolution. The Monsuno
creatures (more like monsters) are actually energy that bonds with
animal and/or plant DNA to come into existence. Between Pokemon,
Digimon, Beyblade, and Kaijudo this franchise had to come up with
something just a bit different.
Chase is on a search to find his missing father in Monsuno Destiny. He
winds up finding out about Monsuno at a hidden laboratory. A militant
group is just one of the problems he has to deal with. As we explore the
Monsuno universe in these five episodes we learn they are all over the
place. There are various groups who have them, and use them to battle.
Battling is a central part of Monsuno Destiny. Characters will spin
their core device, and their Monsuno will come flying out to do battle.
As we progress in Monsuno Destiny we find out a little more here and
there. At the end of Monsuno Destiny Chase has still not found his
father.
Monsuno Destiny gives a really good taste for the show. I know that
there are concept in Monsuno Destiny that have been used before. However
this show is still interesting, and I noticed how well it is written.
Monsuno Destiny contains plenty of foreshadowing and engaging concepts.
I am very intrigued by what is going to happen in this show next.
