Monster Truck Destruction

Monster Truck Destruction is the best
looking hand held monster truck game I have ever played. It is also the
best sounding monster truck game on the hand helds. I will get to the
other features in my review. I do have one concern about Monster Truck
Destruction, which I will get into.
There are thirty trucks in Monster Truck Destruction. A nice garage for
an iOS title. The tracks look nice, and the destructible vehicles look
good. They do seem to vanish quickly as we destroy them. But I was not
exactly expecting to see pieces go flying when I crushed them.
The music in Monster Truck Destruction is rockish, loud, and very proud.
Just like going to a monster truck show, or a demolition derby. Monster
Truck Destruction reminds me of both of those. Players earn in game cash
for things they do, and have to pay for repairs of their vehicle. So the
goal is to earn more than you have to repair, and get upgrades to the
vehicle.
The controls in Monster Truck Destruction come in the form of on screen
buttons. There is a gas, brake (also used to go in reverse), turn left,
and turn right. All four of these buttons are on the bottom of the
screen. It is difficult to turn and accelerate at the same time. Monster
Truck Destruction is a game that is screaming: "GIVE ME A CONTROLLER!"
I believe Monster Truck Destruction would play much better with a
controller. I do not have one that will work with this app at this time.
The amount of unlockable content in Monster Truck Destruction is
exceptional, especially for the price. And remember this is on a hand
held.
The controls are the only problem I have with Monster Truck Destruction.
If you have a controller that will work with this app, then you should
have a wonderful gaming experience - from race start to freestyle
finish.
