Mini Ninjas Adventures
SCORE: 71
Mini Ninjas was a cute franchise that
millions of families all over the world enjoyed. Family Friendly Gaming
enjoyed it as well. I was very excited to hear about Mini Ninja
Adventures on the Xbox 360. This is a Kinect only downloadable title.
Mini Ninjas Adventures puts us in the shoes of a mini ninja. We can hack
and slash with swords, throw ninja stars, use a bow and arrow, kick
enemies, and more.
The biggest problem I had with Mini Ninjas Adventures was changing
weapons. It did not always work the first time. The same can be said for
calling in friends by saying: "Ninja." Magic is also used through that
voice command. The music Mini Ninjas Adventures contains an Eastern
theme. The special effect sounds in Mini Ninjas Adventures are
exceptional.
The graphics in Mini Ninjas Adventures are very similar to the previous
home console title. When we defeat an enemy they poof away, and a little
woodland creature runs off. A lot like what happens in Sonic the
Hedgehog video games. Which is something we appreciate here at Family
Friendly Gaming. Since we are freeing enslaved creatures.
Mini Ninjas Adventures can get monotonous after a few waves. We do
different things while fighting off these enemies. All of these actions
require real world physical activity by the player. This is one of the
best parts of Mini Ninjas Adventures. We are getting physical exercise
while playing this Kinect video game. The downside is breaks are needed.
Many at Family Friendly Gaming that played Mini Ninjas Adventures got
bored with the hacking and slashing enemies. At times it felt like the
bad guys had an unlimited amount of troops. But the sweat earned from
this Xbox 360 game is absolutely priceless. Especially when fasting was
added in. Mini Ninjas Adventures is a great way to lose some weight.
I really like the Mini Ninjas franchise, and I am very pleased to see
Square Enix release another game in the franchise. I would love to play
another home console version some day (a true sequel to Mini Ninjas).
Until that time arrives, I will enjoy Mini Ninjas Adventures on the Xbox
360 Kinect. I have a feeling many of our readers will as well.
