KooZac

KooZac is part puzzle game, and part educational game. There are three important aspects to KooZac. The first is the silver blocks with numbers on them. The second is the colored blocks on the upper right. These are what will be coming next. Think of games like Tetris. The final important aspect to KooZac is the numbers on the upper left. How does all of this fit together?

The number blocks that drop down need to be added to the silver blocks. That number needs to match what is on the upper left for the silver blocks to go away. This may sound convoluted at first, but once you start playing this iPhone/iPod Touch game it makes more sense. I can also tell all ya'll that KooZac is a lot of fun.

The shiny graphics in KooZac look wonderful. The blocks have a gemstone look and feel to them. I found nothing offensive about any of the graphics in KooZac. The music is soothing and relaxing. The music enhances in KooZac in a variety of ways. The tutorial teaches players how to excel in this hand held game.

There are sixty puzzle levels in KooZac. Once all of those are completed then family members can enjoy the endless mode. KooZac tell us that more levels will be coming in the future. KooZac can be used to assist kids in learning how to do basic addition. Which is an important life skill everyone needs to learn.

I ran into one issue while playing KooZac. The blocks slowly move from the top center of the screen. By slow, I mean slow. I would try and move them from the middle to the left or right. KooZac makes players wait until it crosses a line at the top. I would also try and drag those blocks from the top to the bottom when they lined up in the center. Which kept opening my Calendar Goo instead.

All in all KooZac is a wonderful game. I love the neat little learning lessons. The bright colors appeal to all ages of the family. Square Enix has another high quality title on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a download code for this review.
