 Jeremy McGraths Offroad

How many racing games out there look really good? How many of them feel good as well? I have found in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The Xbox 360 version was used for this home console review. This game looks really nice, and plays really nice. That combination can be difficult to find.

The little graphical effects in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad are exceptional. Dust kicking up can obscure the players view just like in the real world. The mud can be throw up as well. The stages in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad exhibit all kinds of diversity. We race in the morning, in the evening, mid day, and more. We race in dirt, ice, and more.

Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad feels like an off road racing game. We have to deal with left turns, right turns, and all kinds of bumps. Those bumps can lead the player into flipping their vehicle over and over again. While it may be impressive to watch your vehicle cartwheel once, we lose time and sometimes a race for that kind of a mistake.

Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad includes a wonderful tool that assists the players. It is a voice that tells us what is coming up. Things like hard right, S curves, medium left, and more. This voice gave me just enough time to plan for the upcoming course change. My one complaint is I did not see an on screen map to know how close I was to the finish line.

There is no reason for gamers to race dirty in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad. In fact racing clean allows the player to pass much faster. There are experience points for passing vehicles in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad, and for winning races. These can be used on the vehicles to improve their stats. I noticed mild differences when I improved vehicles.

The best mode to start out in is the career mode. After that arcade can be fun. I am still shocked at how many race tracks there are in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad. Gamers will get their moneys worth out of Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad. If you like to compete against others then there is also an online mode. The ten dollar price tag is extremely reasonable in this reviewers opinion.
