Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1
SCORE: 65
Our editor in chief likes to stretch us.
He allows us to review products we may not normally review. This is
where I come in with a review of Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1. I know
of the nickelodeon cartoon, but never sat down and watched a full
episode. These two DVDs contains the first ten episodes of the second
season. I checked and Sam reviewed the entire first season. I am not
clear why Shout Factory went this direction for the second season.
Visually Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1 is pretty dark. There are all
these ghosts that he fights. They have the big BAM, and POW words like
the old Batman television show. Most of the time the fights seem to be
plot driven. I noticed that certain characters would be captured at
certain points in a show, and escape at others.
The voice acting is good. The characters in Danny Phantom Season 2 Part
1 show a lot of attitude. It is obvious they do not respect things like
their parents. Which is a real shame in my opinion. The music got stuck
in my head. It also explains how Danny got his ghost powers, and what he
does with them. He starts the season becoming more like a villain but
eventually settles down.
There are only ten episodes in Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1. So keep
that in mind when you are shopping. The storylines are interesting, and
I love how he works with his enemies so often. This is a marvelous
aspect of Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1. He does not trust them, but he
does work with them.
Like the previous review mentioned, Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1 does
contain a spiritual aspect. Danny has ghost powers, and he sends ghosts
back to their realm. I was not sure how they kept escaping into our
world. But I guess it storyline driven. Danny Phantom Season 2 Part 1
can be an interesting super hero show that is different from many others
I have seen. Danny struggles with various issues in most episodes.
