We play so many video games with problems
all year long that it can be shocking to find a completely clean,
uplifting and positive game on the market. Bibliquiz came to us the way
many apps do. We are emailed by someone at a small company. I have to
admit that immediately I am thinking: "oh no here comes another low
quality title."
Hey I am honest about my thoughts and opinions. Maybe that is why so
many people enjoy reading my reviews. I will admit when I am wrong. I
admit when I stick my foot in my mouth. I am merely a man, who
definitely makes mistakes. Playing Bibliquiz was not one of my mistakes.
In fact I feel it was providence that I play this game, and write this
review.
Bibliquiz scream high quality. That is the most shocking thing about
this iPad game. A lot of time, effort, and money was put into this quiz
show like game. Bibliquiz reminds me of the You Don't Know Jack
franchise. There are two major differences. One - there is not an
obnoxious host. And two the game is completely clean and safe for the
entire family.
The soft look, and little details stick out in Bibliquiz. They are great
to see. Answer a question right and you get one image. Answer it wrong
and you get another one. Bible scholars will immediately recognize the
images that are shown. One of them that I noticed was a lot of frogs on
a Moses like character. Another was a Moses like character parting the
sea. The only little catch is he is in a little swimming pool and not a
large body of water.
The music in Bibliquiz is very pleasant. This iPad game also has
different sounds for right and wrong answers. Answering a question right
produces a pleasant sound, whereas answering a question wrong produces a
less than pleasant sound. I did learn some fun facts thanks to
Bibliquiz, and reinforced existing knowledge.
Bibliquiz is random in terms of the questions. We got a variety of
questions. I had the most trouble with the books of the Holy Bible out
of order. Being asked who belonged to the Old or New Testament were much
easier. I also liked the timeline questions in Bibliquiz. Straight up
multiple choice are also a part of Bibliquiz. There are various
difficulty settings as well as how many questions you would like to try
and answer.
Bibliquiz contains a really neat bonus. There are pictures that can be
earned for doing well in the quizzes. I really appreciate Funny Biz for
publishing Bibliquiz. This is one really cool, high quality app. The two
dollar price tag is extremely reasonable. It has impressed us so much
that we are bestowing the rarely given Family Friendly Gaming seal of
approval.
