de Blob 2 de Blob 2 de Blob 2

I love sequels. I really do. I enjoy getting back into a universe, and seeing all the new stuff. I love getting more levels of something I enjoyed playing. THQ has assisted me by publishing de blob 2. They expanded this game in a plethora of ways. My favorite is de blob 2 is on the Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 as well as the Wii and Nintendo DS. If you want a comparison, well the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 versions are better than the Wii version. They include more levels, enemy classes, and a Co-op multiplayer (to name a few).

The graphics are very artistic in de blob 2. In fact I actually enjoy art now thanks to this franchise. Getting to roll around and paint the drab areas is a lot of fun. The patterns that can be collected as well as custom paints are some neat visual features in de blob 2. Buildings accept color quickly which makes a timed game even better. The violent content in de blob 2 is squashing enemy characters. They get back up so this is at the level of Looney Tunes in my opinion.

Are you ready to laugh? You better be if you start to play de blob 2. There is a lot of humor in this game. Much of this comes from little cut scene movies. I am very discerning, and I was laughing at numerous points. These characters may have limited body parts, but they are used in comic genius. I wonder if one of the comedians from Bananas was hired for this area of the game. The music fits the game, and enhances this home console game nicely. The special effect sounds work well too.

THQ is similar to Nintendo in terms of bonus content. They put the bar so high that I can barely even see it. I spent hours in levels and still did not find every hidden item. There are various modes, and difficulty settings. We were provided a reviewable copy of de blob 2, and I believe this game is worth the price of admission. For those familiar with our reviews know I purchased the first game, and was not disappointed. de blob 2 takes every thing good from the first, and adds to it.

The controls are as smooth as silk in de blob 2. Moving around levels is very easy. The hard part can be to find all the buildings in certain areas. Or figuring out how to get to the next section. The side scrolling levels are a lot of fun, and add a little spice to the game play. I had a lot of fun playing de blob 2. Bringing color back to a drab world is a great idea, and getting to be creative adds to it.

de blob 2 is everything a sequel should be. This game encourages exploration, creativity, and coloring. THQ has made coloring cool for adults. I hope this franchise goes for the three-peat. It was my personal pleasure and joy to be able to play and review de blob 2. The main character frees so many enslaved against their will into a colorless world. I can run numerous parallels to how Jesus freed me from slavery.
