Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots
SCORE: 67
Do you know what a new Transformers movie
in the theaters brings? New video games. Remember the video game
industry has surpassed Hollywood in terms of sales. That was like a long
time ago. So companies want gamers to take an interest in their movie by
making a good video game based on their movie. Transformers Dark of the
Moon Autobots is an action adventure shoot them up kind of a video game.
The Nintendo DS tries really hard to display the 3D graphics in
Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots. Unfortunately the machine is
showing its age. Players shoot, punch, and kick the other robots as they
secure areas. Many of the enemy robots look the same which made me feel
like it was a major invasion. I thought at this point there would be
less robots on earth. After this game there should be none left.
The voice acting in Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots is essential
to the game, and really bring something to the table. I had to listen
carefully to the instructions the game was giving me verbally. Things
like protect this building, or destroy those robots may sound different;
but I had to do the same thing for both objectives. The voices in
Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots are fantastic.
There are hidden upgrades in every level of Transformers Dark of the
Moon Autobots. Searching for them is one of the main replay aspects of
Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots. Two players who have this
Nintendo DS game can battle against one another in the wireless play
mode. If you are into that sort of thing. Family Friendly Gaming was
provided a reviewable copy of Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots. In
my opinion Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots is worth about twenty
dollars.
There is some mild variety in the game play of Transformers Dark of the
Moon Autobots. Most of the game is destroying so many robots here, and
then some more come, so we repeat the process. Going from section to
section destroying waves of robots got pretty old pretty fast. Now
getting to play different Transformers was pretty cool. As was getting
to transform into the different modes. Although I spent most of the time
in robot mode.
The main goal of Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots is to wage war
against the Decepticons. They are constantly trying to destroy
something. It would have been cool to see the Autobots creating things
but having them protect life is a nice lesson. I had to use violence to
stop their violence so I was not sure what made me better than them.
Some additional variety could have gone a long way in helping
Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobots score better. I still think there
is something there that could be exploited in sequels.
