One of the real advantages of the
iPhone/iPod Touch is the level of interactivity. Thomas & Friends Engine
Activities is part coloring book, part jig-saw puzzle, and part matching
game. All of those things together make a neat little learning game for
children. Thomas & Friends Engine Activities also costs only two
dollars.
The voices is the first thing that stuck out about Thomas & Friends
Engine Activities. If your family has any of the DVDs then you know
exactly what the voices sound like. There are numerous short videos in
Thomas & Friends Engine Activities that allowed me to hear the voices
quite clearly. These voices are also on the various menu screens.
I had a few problems with Thomas & Friends Engine Activities crashing. I
had to completely reboot my machine to correct that problem. Once I did,
I did not experience it again. The touch screen controls work perfectly
in Thomas & Friends Engine Activities. The coloring pages are one of the
great examples of this.
The images in Thomas & Friends Engine Activities are safe for the entire
family. I ran into no offensive images while playing this app. The
videos contained are picture perfect. The only issue I ran into with
Thomas & Friends Engine Activities is children wanted it. I was able to
watch them enjoy this learning game. Which is a good thing, because it
means Thomas & Friends Engine Activities reaches the target audience.
Thomas & Friends Engine Activities costs less than most coloring books,
and card matching games. Families get a good amount of content for their
money. I noticed that Thomas & Friends Engine Activities contained
locked sections. Those cost some more money. So be aware of that, and
have your accounts locked down so children do not accidentally get you
charges you were not expecting.
